Lucy Beaumont made an "unforgettable" cake on the latest episode of the Great Celebrity Bake Off for SU2C.
The comedian, 39, was among the contestants on the celebrity edition of the Channel 4 show last night, which was in support of fundraising campaign Stand Up to Cancer.
She competed against actor David Morrissey, 58, radio host Adele Roberts, 44, and Olympic diver Tom Daley, 28, for the chance to become a 'Star Baker' in the new series.
And although she didn't end up getting the honour, Lucy still seemed to make an impression on judges Prue Leith, 83, and Paul Hollywood, 57, with her showstopper cake.
The cake - which had to fit a 'perfect day off' theme - was inspired by Lucy wanting to go to an all-you-can-eat carvery with actors Idris Elba, 50, and Tom Hardy, 45.
Unfortunately, things didn't go to plan and the cake fell apart whilst she was in the process of putting it together. Lucy said she suspected she hadn't let it cool enough.
The cake was subsequently inspected by the two judges. Prue appeared speechless over the edible creation, with her simply thanking Lucy as part of her feedback.
After tasting the cake and seemingly spitting a piece out, Paul told the comedian: "I wouldn't say it was inedible but it's on the way [...] I've never had a cake like it. It's bizarre".
Following the feedback from the judges, Lucy commented that she had enjoyed herself during the experience. She was heard saying in the tent: "I've had a lovely day out".
Whilst discussing the cake away from Lucy, judge Prue said: "I will never forget Lucy's cake as long as I live." Paul said: "It's certainly one of the worst cakes we've seen in the tent".
Lucy said outside the tent: "I know that I'm not gonna win an apron." She however teased over it: "I don't wanna sound awful; I've got aprons. I can get one on the internet."
It likely came as no surprise that she didn't win the episode, with host Noel Fielding, 49, instead announcing that actor David had been declared the winner by the two judges.
The Great Celebrity Bake Off for SU2C continues on Sunday evening (April 9) from 7.40pm on Channel 4. You can catch up on previous episodes through All4 now.
