Emmerdale's Paddy Kirk continues to struggle with his breakup from cheating wife Chas Dingle.
After finding out she had an affair with Al Chapman before his accidental death, Paddy confronts her and reveals her dad had warned him about her and Al years ago. His heartbreak was made worse by the fact that Chas had treated him awfully while she was going behind his back.
In heartbreaking scenes which aired in December, he told her: "I can understand you wanting to escape after everything that's happened, but that doesn't explain why you were so horrible to me, pushing me away all the time, snapping at me for anything and everything. You loving him...did it really mean you had to hate me?"
