The world’s biggest ice sheet can still be saved if the average global temperature is kept below 35 degrees Fahrenheit, a new study revealed.

The East Antarctica Ice Sheet (EAIS) holds the vast majority of the planet’s glacier ice – equivalent to 52 meters, or 170 feet – of rising sea level.
