World number one Ash Barty announces shock retirement from tennis

World number one tennis player Ash Barty has rocked the sporting world as she announced her shock retirement from the game at the age of 25.

Barty, who was at peak of her career as the reigning Australian Open and Wimbledon Champion, dropped the bombshell news in an emotional sit-down interview with close friend and former doubles partner Casey Dellacqua on Wednesday.
