As governments around the world confront the accelerating development of artificial intelligence technology, a changing climate and economic uncertainty, the World Governments Summit's (WGS) organisers have said this year is set to bring the event's most ambitious edition yet. The summit will take place in Dubai from 3-5 February, and has been taking place every year since 2013.
Set under the theme, "Shaping Future Governments", the 2026 edition is expected to bring together 35 heads of state and government, more than 150 government delegations and over 6,000 attendees.
