World Glaucoma Day: This common lifestyle disease increases the risk of glaucoma

World Glaucoma Day is observed on March 12 to create awareness of glaucoma. The theme for World Glaucoma Day 2024 is “Uniting for a Glaucoma-Free World”. World Glaucoma Week is observed on March 10-16, 2024. It is a global initiative of the World Glaucoma Association (WGA) to raise awareness of glaucoma. It is important to understand glaucoma because of its direct association with diabetes, which affects millions of people worldwide and is expected to grow in the coming years.
