World Cup today: Scotland look to book place in knockouts and Brazil aim for first win

  • Scotland will play Morocco in Group C at Boston Stadium at 11pm BST ; Morocco seeks a win after drawing with Brazil , while Scotland hopes to maintain their top position in the group following a first win against Haiti.
  • Brazil, under scrutiny after drawing their opener, will take on Haiti in Group C at Philadelphia Stadium at 1.30am BST on Saturday, with forward Vinicius Junior looking to score his second of the tournament.
  • Turkey and Paraguay will both be seeking a crucial win in Group D at San Francisco Bay Area Stadium at 4am GMT on Saturday, as Turkey looks to recover from a dominant but losing performance and Paraguay aims to bounce back from a 4-1 defeat to the US.
  • While off the pitch a French appeals court has confirmed that PSG and Morocco full-back Achraf Hakimi will stand trial in a rape case.
