- The other game in the group sees Senegal play Iraq – a win for either team would keep faint hopes of a knockout place alive. Both games in Group I kick off a t 8pm BST (3pm ET).
- Cape Verde take on Saudi Arabia in Group H knowing that a win for either team would likely see them through to the knockout rounds. Uruguay also need something against Spain to take their place in the last 32. Both games kick off at 1am Saturday BST (8pm ET).
- Group G comes to a close with Egypt taking on Iran. Mo Salah and co currently lead the group with four points but a win for Iran would also put them through.
- While Belgium need a win against New Zealand to guarantee their place in the knockout rounds – the All Whites are still looking for their first-ever win at a World Cup. Both games in Group G take place at 4am Saturday BST (11pm Friday ET).
