The 2026 World Cup quarter-finals kick off with a blockbuster clash between France and Morocco in Boston. This is a match with a lot of cultural overlap between the two nations involved with several French-born players in the Morocco squad.

Three and a half years ago, the Atlas Lions made an historic run to the semi-finals, becoming the first African nation to reach the final four of a World Cup. A statement victory over France would make them genuine contenders to win the whole thing.
