PUNE: As a player, Daniel Vettori was well aware of the threat posed by Australia. Now that he is part of the trans-Tasmanian rivals' coaching set up, the New Zealander can vouch for their quality first-hand.

"I think (my) experience against them (was that), you're always coming up against quality players. So, the fact that you saw those players in front of you, there was some trepidation around that," the 44-year-old Auckland native said on Friday.
