Playmaker Ajdin Hrustic has returned to Dutch club Heracles Almelo as he attempts to force his way back into the Socceroos side ahead of the World Cup.

Hrustic, one of Australia's most gifted attacking midfielders, has joined the Eredivisie club on a one-year deal after previously playing there on loan in 2024.
