Domestic leagues will soon begin a month-long hiatus as 32 countries are set to compete for the 2022 World Cup. The tournament gets underway on Sunday, November 20 when hosts Qatar face Ecuador.
England begin their World Cup campaign the following day against Iran and are set for a feisty reunion with the United States of America four days later. The Three Lions complete their group stage fixtures against Wales on Tuesday, November 29.
Supporters watching from home will be able to see all three of England's group fixtures on terrestrial TV, with the BBC airing the opening fixture against Iran and the final group stage match with Wales, while ITV, who were said to have had the first pick, will provide coverage of the game against the USA.
