Call for 'give and take' as BHP staff dispute flares up

Workers have been urged to come to the bargaining table to end a lengthy battle over wages and conditions at the world's largest bulk iron ore export operation.

More than 100 workers at BHP's bulk export terminal at Western Australia's Port Hedland participated in strikes across the weekend, including a 24-hour ship-loading ban on Saturday and a 24-hour work stoppage on Sunday.
