Work underway on new housing development on former college site

The site of the former Manchester College city campus is being transformed into 224 new homes.

Work is underway on the Miller Homes development, called Varsity Quarter on Sale Road in Northenden.

Show homes are expected to launch later this year, with occupations following shortly afterwards. Homes currently listed on the website following the launch include the Burnett and Wilson, and prices of available plots start from £370,000.

The sales centre onsite is set to open from November 19.

Clare Noakes, Sales Director of Miller Homes in the North West, commented: “We’re very excited to open the doors to Varsity Quarter. This development is one we’ve all been looking forward to for a while, and it will be great to meet future homeowners.”
