A single mum who was on her work email just days after giving birth and begged to come back into the office just three weeks later says she is a "proud" workaholic. Lydia Mujuru, 49, realised she was "obsessed" with her job when she kept dreaming about going back to work while on maternity leave with her eldest son Damien, now 23.
Before she knew it, the new mum was asking her colleagues to send her work to do. Six years later, she welcomed her second son Sean, now 17, while she was working an admin job in Inverness.
After being discharged from hospital, the first thing Lydia did was reply to work emails. However, the career-driven parent says being a workaholic has "paid off", as she has successfully raised her two boys and started her own imaging diagnostic company.
