Work starts on Worcestershire industrial scheme

The next phase of work on an industrial scheme in north Worcestershire has commenced.

Developer Langtree is leading the £6.5 million Sapphire Court development on Bromsgrove Enterprise Park where 19 industrial units are being built.

They will total 61,550 square feet and be available for general business, logistics and manufacturing occupiers.

The development follows the lettings of the first 13 units which were previously occupied by sportswear firm Gymshark and Lounge Underwear prior to their expansions and relocations to new bases in Solihull.

Shropshire-based contractor McPhillips has been appointed to lead construction of the buildings which is expected to take a year.

Josh Downes, group senior development manager of Warrington-based Langtree, said: “With our first phase, we created and managed a secure environment in which ambitious businesses could thrive and that’s very much our intention with our new units."
