Construction of a new 75-home development is underway in Newport. Flintshire-headquartered housebuilder Redrow announced that it has begun work on the new residential area which will consist of three, four and five homes built over a two year period.
Named Parc Elisabeth, after Queen Elizabeth II first official visit to Wales in Newport in 1953, the development is located in Newport's town centre, near the railway station.

It is the latest development announced for the city in addition to the Great Milton Park 1,000-homes project in Llanwern. The finished properties will be sold from Redrow's new sales hub at Great Milton Park.
