Work has started on a development of 60 homes in the Somerset village of Cheddar.
Bellway Homes South West is building the properties on the northern side of Hellier's Lane, which lies to the south of the reservoir.
The development will include two-, three- and four-bedroom houses for private sale and 18 one-, two- and three-bedroom affordable homes for local people through rent or shared ownership.
