Work on the new £36 million Blairgowrie Recreation Centre is now under way.
The modern design will replace the current 41-year-old building and give residents in east Perthshire access to state-of-the-art leisure facilities.
The new centre will comprise of both a large four-court sports hall and a smaller two-court sports hall/gymnasium, a six-lane 25m swimming pool, fitness gym, studio space and changing facilities, and an external all-weather pitch.
