'Work-based trauma': Mental health complaints double for stressed workers

The number of complaints reported to SafeWork NSW about "psychosocial hazards" in Hunter workplaces has almost doubled in five years.

Data obtained by the Newcastle Herald showed there were 302 of these complaints in 2025-26 and 154 in 2020-21.
