Heartbreaking floral tributes have been left at the scene of a crash that killed a "truly amazing" paramedic.
The 31-year-old, named locally as Ben, died after he was involved in a crash on Mossborough Road, in Rainford, on Sunday, January 1. Emergency services rushed to the crash, at around 10am, but the paramedic, who was off duty at the time, died.
Colleagues and friends have now left flowers and written tributes at the scene. One reads: "You were the most loved and cherished man, a gentle soul and an amazing Daddy to your two beautiful children.
