
The Woodley Fire, which ignited on Wednesday morning in the Sepulveda Basin located west of Los Angeles' Van Nuys neighborhood, has been successfully contained after burning through 30 acres of land.
City Fire Chief Kristin Crowley provided an update during a news conference on Thursday, stating that fire patrols are actively monitoring the area to prevent any potential flare-ups. Crowley confirmed that the fire has been declared as a knockdown, indicating that the flames have been extinguished, and there are currently no imminent threats to the surrounding areas.
