A woman with cancer has been forced to miss vital treatment back in the UK after being hospitalised on holiday in Spain - and has no idea when she will be able to return home.
Kelly and her partner, Andrew Timms, along with her parents Trevor and Leslie Haughton had jetted off to Tenerife for a much-needed getaway before the start of Kelly's latest round of treatment.
However the dream vacation turned into a 'nightmare' when Kelly's health deteriorated and she was rushed to hospital on the Canary Island. The family were set to travel back to the UK in an air ambulance organised by insurers May Day Assistance on Friday (August 12), but their flight was postponed.
