Women’s FA Cup prize money boost with £3million to be shared among teams

The FA have announced extra funding for the women’s game, via an increased prize pool for the Women’s FA Cup.

A sum of £3million will be shared out among the teams competing in the tournament from next season onwards, with the organisation promising to direct more money to the earlier rounds in a bid to grow the game.
