The thing about living in such a fast paced digital world is that people want to see results for everything immediately. And with skincare, it can be a slog waiting to see if the product you’ve been using for six months really has reduced your wrinkles.
It’s part of the reason why products like the Proto-col eye lift, which work within five minutes, are so popular with shoppers.
And now, Boots shoppers have been heaping praise on an anti-ageing moisturiser that some have said improves skin ‘overnight’.

Olay’s Regenerist three-point firming anti-ageing face cream is being offered as part of Boots' weekly £10 Tuesday deal, meaning that shoppers could also save a significant amount of money. Normally costing £34, the cream is currently available for just £10 on the Boots website for 50ml.
By comparison, a 15ml sample pot is £8.99 on Amazon, so you’re getting much more bang for your buck with the Boots deal.
Complete with a skin-plumping formula, it works by targeting the three areas most prone to ageing, including the eyes, jaw line and neck, offering firmer and younger-looking skin.
It appears to have gone down a treat with customers who have given it over 820 5-star reviews and heaped praise on the product. Women aged 25-70 have raved about what it’s done for their skin, with one writing: “I am 51 and have switched to this recently after using another product for years. I love it. My skin feels hydrated and has a lovely glow. It soaks in beautifully and feels great to use. Very glad I switched!”
Another added: “I first started using this in my late teens purely by accident because I tried a friend's 3 point serum and absolutely loved how silky it felt on my skin. I’m now 35 and still using it daily. Apparently I haven’t aged much and I do put that down to this cream. I work outside and have horses / dogs so my skin is often stressed.”
A 70-year-old shopper added: “I like the fact that this cream is not at all greasy and a little blob goes a long way. Consequently a pot lasts a long time and it’s very economical. As a 70 year old I think my complexion is pretty good and have used Olay products for years.”
While at the other end of the scale a 24-year-old wrote: “I used this cream once overnight and I can see a difference in my under eyes, fine lines seem less prominent when I smile and darkness is majorly reduced. The cream did get a bit clumpy as I was massaging into my face after a while which wasn’t too great but results are amazing so I don’t mind. I started using anti wrinkle cream now as it’s my 25th birthday this year so trying to avoid any fine lines ASAP!”
By comparison, the cream has only received 25 one-star reviews, and 21 two star ratings.
One shopper added: “To be honest the product smells great and does moisturise well but I don't see any difference in appearance to wrinkles. Price wise would say it's a bit pricey for what it is, which is a glorified moisturiser.”
Another added: “I loved the feel of this product initially but it left my skin feeling a little too tight. Just not a perfect fit for my skin.”
Boots is currently the cheapest place to buy this cream - at least until midnight tonight, when it will return to full price. Superdrug has also slashed the price to £15.72 for a limited time.
