The Sydney Swans AFLW team has drawn a record crowd in the club's first game since a sexual assault scandal engulfed the men's side, which had its lowest crowd of the season.

Fears supporters would turn their backs on the men's team when they took to the field after the women were unfounded, with large numbers donning the red and white at the Sydney Cricket Ground on Sunday.
