Women accused of shoplifting from Newmains Asda headbutted shopworker and spat on another

A shopper attacked supermarket staff after being accused of stealing makeup.

Bernadette Taggart headbutted one female Asda employee on the nose then punched and spat on another.

Taggart, 39, of Tinto Crescent, Wishaw, appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court and admitted two counts of assault.
