A woman dropped 14st after she was unable to fit on rides at Thorpe Park.
Stephanie Smith said she overate so much in her teens that her parents put locks on the fridge. The 22-year-old went from 27st 2lb and a size 28, to 13st 4lb and a size 12, dropping an incredible 14st.
When she was just 20-years-old, Stephanie took the bold decision to have an irreversible gastric sleeve operation after a trip to Thorpe Park in Surrey where she found she couldn't go on many of the rides due to her expanding waistline. Stephanie, of Ashford, Kent, said: “At one point there were two people trying to push the safety bar down over me and it wouldn’t go. That’s when I decided enough was enough.”
