Woman with 34HH breasts 'refused reduction operation by NHS due to her weight'

A woman says she has been refused breast reduction surgery due to her weight.

Leonie Reynolds, from Chelmsford, has a bra size of 34H/HH and says she has been asking for the operation since she was only 12-years-old but was told she would have to wait until she was 18. However, medics are now refusing to agree to the operation because her body mass index (BMI) has been deemed to be too high.

Leonie said she has been suffering from back pain as a result of her breasts for the last 10 years and says medics have told her she should take paracetamol and ibuprofen to cope, reports Wales Online.
