For foodies, one of the best parts about Christmas has to be the festive cheeseboard, best accompanied by a glass or two of mulled wine and a few party games. One foodie has now taken things to the next level, after unveiling her gorgeous cheeseboard centrepiece, shaped to look like a little Christmas tree.
Food vlogger Alexandra, who regularly shares delicious-sounding recipes via TikTok, recently unveiled her 'simple, easy, and delicious', Boursin cream cheese Christmas tree, demonstrating exactly how to make it in an easy-to-follow video. Needless to say, there will be numerous recreations from wowed followers this Christmas Eve.
Clever Alexandra, who goes by the TikTok username @foodbyalexandran, shared a vid showing her assembling the savoury tree, shaping a packet of Boursin into the correct shape using cling film before rolling it in fresh parsley.
She then dotted the tree with pomegranate and almond 'baubles', finishing it off with a little star cut from a piece of pepper. The resulting showstopper couldn't look more festive if Alexandra had added tinsel and fairy lights.
After getting it presented beautifully, Alexandra could be seen spreading the cheese on a cracker before tucking into her masterpiece, which many have hailed as 'super cute'.
The video has since been viewed more than 13 million times and counting, and a number of inspired followers declared Alexandra had 'won Christmas' with her 'amazing' creation.
One impressed person commented: "Love this. I’m in charge of the cheeseboard this year and your idea is going right in the middle! Thank you."
Another approved: "Every year I make the family cheese ball recipe for everyone, this year I'm making them into these awesome trees!"
A third applauded: "I made one and no one ate it. I didn’t realise nobody wanted to make the first cut. Once I split it open everyone dived in."
