A woman who sent threats to her ex partner via his dog's Facebook page even though she was banned from contacting him has been sent to prison. Paula Higham, 38, was banned from contacting her ex for a year by a judge in August 2021, but sent a string of "deeply unpleasant" messages just a week after the order was imposed on her.
She breached the non-molestation order that was handed to her by Recorder Tim Harrington by threatening to kill ex Mark Davies when she messaged a Facebook page that had been set up in the name of his dog. Higham, of Sandringham Drive in Sefton Park, Liverpool, also threatened her ex's mum, calling her "rough", adding that she would be "looking worse soon".
Higham appeared at Liverpool Crown Court again on Thursday for breaching terms of a suspended sentence, the Liverpool ECHO reports. The court heard she sent 13 emails from two different accounts on the morning of August 25, 2021, just a week after the order was imposed.
