A woman with no driving licence got behind the wheel and carried out a "stupid" manoeuvre in a confrontation with another motorist. Charlotte Stuckey, from Llanrumney in Cardiff, overtook another driver and stopped her grey Audi A1 in the middle of a road in Llantwit Major town centre during an "angry" row, Cardiff Magistrates' Court heard. The 26-year-old was driving at around 4.30pm on March 8 despite never having held a licence.
Prosecutor Emma Davies said: "A witness drove out of a car park in Llantwit Major, turning right onto Boverton Road. As he pulled out the defendant's vehicle pulled up right behind and flashed her headlights at him. The witness was under the impression that the defendant was speeding. The Audi followed him onto Boverton Road before dangerously overtaking him and stopping in the middle of the road in front of him."
Ms Davies added that an "angry confrontation" between the pair ensued on the "busy town centre road", which was lined with parked cars. The witness took note of Stuckey's registration number and reported her to police who then found she had no licence.
