A woman who put in a £20,000 bid for a house while on a drunken night out woke up the next morning to discover that she had won the auctioned property, which subsequently changed her life forever. Luana Riberia, 40 had been out partying at a nightclub when she placed the bid for the house in the suburbs of Leeds, which she claims to have no memory of.
However, the 40-year-old's bid on the house was not completely random as she had already went to view it, originally with a pal who had been interested in purchasing it. But after one too many drinks later, it belonged to Luana, WalesOnline reports.
Luana, from Anglesey, North Wales, said : “I went to see a house with a friend as it was on auction, but my friend didn’t want it as it was in a rough area. I liked the property and thought it could be really lovely and a good investment.
