At the age of 15, Rebecca Humphreys fell at home. It resulted in a small 'paper cut-like' injury to her leg, and at the time she thought nothing of it.
Rebecca was painting her bedroom at her family home. She jumped off a window ledge not realising she had left a porcelain ornament on the floor.
She screamed when she landed on the porcelain and a small amount of blood came out. But for the next 17 years the cut on her leg would cause more pain and hospital visits than she ever imagined.
