A young woman who had a "burning" and "shooting" sensation in her leg at night was first told she had a sprain before discovering it was a rare tumour in her spine.
Sarah Matthews first experienced the pain in her left calf around four years ago. To alleviate it, she would walk around her flat "for hours".
Sarah, from Warrington, said she had "two-and-a-half years of this pain and trying to figure out what it was". As time went on, the symptoms became more frequent.
