Woman warns of Tesco trolley bank account scam that cost her £1,000

A traumatized nan of seven is £1,000 out of pocket as criminals stole her bank card after following her into Tesco.

Lola Sledmere, aged 88, said that while she was returning her trolley in the car park of the Tesco Superstore she was distracted by a man while an accomplice broke into her car and stole her card, The Express reports.

CCTV footage of the incident taken inside the store seems to show a third criminal loitering behind Lola as she inserted her pin while paying for her shopping. She thinks the trio worked as a team to pull off this daylight robbery.
