Woman waiting at petrol station ‘overhelmed’ to tears by good samaritan, and he didn’t stop with her

The price of gas is on the rise and it doesn’t look like it’s going to come back down any time soon. With people across the world struggling to fill up their cars due to the oil shortage things are becoming dire. But that doesn’t mean there aren’t still good people, like Monty Van Der Berg, who are willing to give aid when they can.

Van Der Berg, 34, who lives in Perth, Australia, offered to fill up the tanks of a handful of drivers as a random act of kindness intended to help individuals and families that may be struggling in his community. According to 7 News Australia the man had been topping up his own tank at a local BP petrol station at 10:30 PM on Monday when he saw that the person before him had only topped up their gas by $7, which equated to a few liters.
