Woman turns veggie after finding foot in her Lidl roast chicken

A woman was shocked to find a chicken foot in her roast bird from Lidl.

Mercedes Checkley, 25, bought the seasoned bird from Lidl for £3.99 last Sunday (February 6) and popped it in the oven for a roast dinner for herself and three friends.

After an hour and 45 minutes in the oven, she brought out the bird only to find an entire chicken foot inside the animal's body.
