Woman tries to kill rat, dies in Chennai

CHENNAI: A 36-year-old woman died in a freak accident in her house at Polichalur near Pallavaram when she attempted to chase and kill a rat on Friday. After checking the CCTV camera footage, police confirmed that the woman first collapsed, likely due to cardia arrest, and then hit her head against the iron gate.

The deceased, S Lakshmi, lived with her husband and son. The CCTV camera footage shows the woman chasing the rat with her son, suddenly collapsing. She was rushed to hospital, where doctors declared her dead.tnn
