A woman who was told she had a "sprain" in her leg actually had a rare tumour in her spine.
Sarah Matthews, from Warrington, said she first remembers experiencing pain in her left calf around 2018. The 32-year-old described the pain in her leg as a "burning" and "shooting" sensation which would only happen at night.
Sarah said the only way she was able to get rid of the pain was to walk around her flat "for hours". Speaking to the ECHO, she said: "It was only ever in my left calf, never in any other part of my body. Never my right leg, it was always effecting my left leg.
