A woman is preparing to run three marathons in a row after her father died from brain cancer. Lianne Jackson is attempting the feat in memory of her dad, Keith, who passed away just months after the family noticed something was wrong.
Keith, 54, was on holiday in Portugal building a home for him and his partner for when they retired. But his family started noticing he was having trouble speaking during video calls.
Doctors in the country diagnosed him with a type of brain cancer - a glioblastoma (GBM) - and advised him to go back home. Sadly, though, after returning to Greater Manchester a scan at Salford Royal Hospital showed he had a lesion on his brain.
