A woman is thought to be hurt after part of a spectator stand collapsed during a Trooping the Colour ceremony. Emergency services evacuated crowds at Horse Guards Parade in central London today (Saturday).

Scores of people turned out for the event, which is being reviewed by The Major General, to catch a glimpse of soldiers of the Household Division and The King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery. Rreports from the scene suggest proceedings were interrupted when a part of the stand collapsed, the Mirror reports.
