A woman has taken revenge on her husband after he surprised her with an unflattering tattoo of her, by getting her own back and getting a hilarious one of him.
Jarrod Grove, 28, and his wife, Tegan, 30, from Queensland, Australia, hit the headlines after he revealed his hilarious, yet unflattering, tattoo of Tegan.
However, she wasn't prepared to let this one slide and has taken revenge by getting a funny picture of Jarrod tattooed onto her forearm.
Tegan says that she decided she wanted to retaliate to her husband's shocking prank in the same second she saw the tattoo that Jarrod had gotten of a picture that she hated of herself.
She added: "I cried many tears when I first saw Jarrod's tattoo, but then I had no choice but to laugh it off.
"In the same second that he showed me the tattoo, I knew I wanted to get revenge on him.
"I chose a photograph of him looking funny and had the tattoo done, on my forearm, around two months after he revealed his tattoo of me.
"It took a few hours to complete, but luckily it wasn't too painful.
"I have a few tattoos, and it was less painful than most of the others I have had.
"I love the tattoo, and if we ever get divorced, I can just say that it is Post Malone from Wish."
When Tegan revealed her revenge tattoo to Jarrod, he immediately loved it.
She said: "Jarrod loved the tattoo, but of course, he would.
"I’m more tattooed than him so I think that he knew that I was going to get revenge."
The couple loves to play jokes on each other, but Jarrod decided to up his game with this hilarious tattoo which caused Tegan to burst into tears before she saw the funny side and decided to get her own back.
He says that Tegan pulls this certain face to make people laugh, but never imagined it would be caught on camera.
Jarrod added: " She hates the face that she pulls but I love it and the fact that she hated the photo of her pulling this face so much, I just had to get it tattooed.
"It showed her personality so raw and true her honest self. She’s the funniest person I know and this face makes me happy because it’s just her.
"She had no idea that I was getting it done, I could not wait to come home and see Tegan’s reaction.
"I knew it would go one of two ways, either we would laugh together or I’d never see this girl ever again. I guess I’m lucky she has a decent sense of humour.
"However, she cried a lot at first, then laughed a lot, and then cried again while googling laser companies.
"But in the end, she just threw her hands up and laughed it off."
