Woman takes a ‘formal’ step against Delta Airlines’ DCA lounge. She says queer staff were forced to listen to anti-LGBTQ+ commentary every day: ‘horrendous’

A nurse from Los Angeles who posts on TikTok as Alexis Rose (@travelingnurse) said she took a formal step against Delta Air Lines after what she described as anti-LGBTQ+ commentary playing on televisions in the airline’s lounge at Washington’s DCA airport.

In her first video, Rose said she flew Delta One from Los Angeles to Washington, D.C., for work on June 1, the first day of Pride Month. After landing, she said she went to the Delta lounge to get lunch. She stated that every television in the lounge was playing Fox News and that the segment included talk of queer people as a “social contagion,” that being gay “needs to be eradicated,” and comments about gay marriage. She said the broadcast also included something “to the tune of, ‘Transgenderism needs to be eradicated.’”
