An air ambulance was called to a home in Gateshead after a woman needed urgent medical assistance.
Emergency crews attended the scene at a private address in the Low Fell area of Gateshead following a report at 9.41am on Thursday. One person was in need of further medical assistance at the scene.
The North East Ambulance Service (NEAS) requested the assistance of Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS) at the scene and an air ambulance did land at the scene.

A photograph from the scene shows the air ambulance after it landed at Kells Lane Primary School.
The school addressed the incident on their social media pages, saying: "We had an unexpected visit today from The Great North Air Ambulance, which used our yard to land safely to attend a nearby emergency. Our thoughts are with all involved."
A representative from the GNAAS confirmed that they responded to a medical incident and a woman was subsequently taken to hospital by ambulance.
A NEAS spokesperson added: "We received a call at 9.41am this morning to reports of a medical incident at a private address in the Low Fell area of Gateshead.
"We dispatched one ambulance crew, a rapid response paramedic, a specialist paramedic, and requested support from our colleagues at the Great North Air Ambulance Service (GNAAS)."
