A Los Angeles woman has filed a lawsuit accusing Grammy-nominated producer Metro Boomin of raping her in 2016, resulting in her pregnancy. The producer's attorney has vehemently denied the allegations, labeling the lawsuit as a 'pure shakedown.'

The woman, Vanessa LeMaistre, claims in the lawsuit that she befriended Metro Boomin after the tragic death of her 9-month-old son. Allegedly, during a visit to a recording studio, she blacked out and awoke to find herself being assaulted by the producer.

According to the lawsuit, LeMaistre discovered she was pregnant as a result of the attack a few weeks later. The producer's attorney has refuted the claims, stating that they are false and motivated by financial gain.

Allegations include assault during a recording studio visit in 2016.

Metro Boomin, known legally as Leland Wayne, has collaborated with prominent artists in the music industry, including John Legend, The Weeknd, Travis Scott, Future, Kendrick Lamar, Offset, 21 Savage, and A$AP Rocky. His recent work on the soundtrack for 'Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse' and his Grammy-nominated album 'Heroes & Villains' have garnered critical acclaim.

The lawsuit alleges that LeMaistre met Wayne at a party in Las Vegas in 2016 and subsequently bonded over their shared appreciation for music's healing power. The incident in question reportedly occurred during a visit to a California recording studio, where LeMaistre claims she was incapacitated and assaulted without consent.

The lawsuit, which accuses Wayne of sexual battery and gender violence, seeks damages to be determined at trial. LeMaistre has chosen to publicly identify herself through her attorneys and has consented to being named in the lawsuit.
