A woman who was struck by a train at a pedestrian crossing in Adelaide's west last week has died.
The woman, aged 74, was hit by the train at East Grange railway station on Terminus Street at about 1.30pm on Wednesday, March 1.
Multiple ambulance crews worked on the patient before rushing her to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
But in statement on Sunday evening, SA Police said the woman passed away on Friday.
It was the second incident involving a train in two days.
On Monday, an 11-year-old boy was in hospital in a critical condition after being hit by a train at the Tambelin Railway Station.
A train on the Grange line overshot the end of the tracks and derailed last year.
Three pedestrians died after being hit by trains in Adelaide last year.
