A woman stabbed a student in the face with a broken bottle in a dispute over a chicken nugget during Freshers Week.
Terrialena Parkin smashed the bottle into her victim's face after she asked him for money and he offered her the food. A judge told Parkin she poses a serious danger to the public after the "nasty and premeditated" attack.
Her university student victim had been enjoying a night out during freshers' week in Leeds when he was assaulted on September 22, 2021. Jeremy Barton, prosecuting, said the victim had ordered food from a takeaway and was sitting on a bench eating it.
