Woman spends MILLIONS to look like Barbie – and says 'it costs a lot to look this good'

A woman who spent millions transforming herself into Barbie has got engaged to the love of her life.

Nikki Exotika, from New Jersey in the US, has gone under the knife several times over two decades to make her dreams come true.

Transitioning after leaving school, the 40-year-old has had breast enhancements, nose jobs, lifts, tucks, voice therapy and more in her quest to look like the popular doll.

After completing her look she set her sights on finding her “own Ken doll” and is now engaged to her boyfriend Jason

She shared on social media: “We planned on meeting again in Barcelona after Justin saved enough money to make that happen, then we had plans to head to Istanbul to fix Justin’s broken nose.

“Well… Justin never popped the question in Barcelona which of course, made me really upset because I felt he wasn’t being serious, so we arrived to Istanbul a few days before his surgery to enjoy the city.

“He was trying to change my mood, so he books a couples photo/video package for us.

"Anyway, the photographers kept telling me to turn to the mosque and look out while they shoot, then Justin was behind me on his knee.

“As soon as they told me to turn around, HE PROPOSED I was NOT expecting that… he surprised me.”

She previously told Truly: “I’ve spent more than a million dollars to transform my body into plastic perfection

“I chose the Barbie look because I was obsessed with the doll since I was little.

“A lot of people are going to be like, ‘What makes her special? What makes her the most expensive doll? Oh so she’s spent a million on her face and body?’.

“Well, it’s a lot more than that.”

From the age of two, Nikki knew she was different from those around her, as she enjoyed putting on makeup and nail polish.

The blonde bombshell also grew up idolising Barbie and pop stars like Madonna after feeling like she was born in the wrong body.

“I started realising when I was little that there was definitely something wrong with me. When I was a boy I would steal my cousin’s Barbie dolls all the time. My mother would find them under my bed,” she said.

“It was hard transitioning, I had to wait until I finished high school. I had a lot of people saying mean things to me.

“When I transitioned it was the best feeling ever, it felt exhilarating just knowing that I had taken my hour back after being called ugly and your this your that, I finally found my identity.”
