Shoppers struggling to afford their weekly food shop are being urged to try a free food tip from Martin Lewis' website MoneySavingExpert. Heather Kelly explains how she gets her Tesco shopping for free after trying out the useful tip.

Posting on the Yellow sticker shopping tips, tricks and hauls group, she shared a picture of a huge supermarket food haul, which she says she got for free. She wrote: "The Olio app is a lifesaver!!!!ALL of this for FREE, worth £32.20, can have a curry night tonight all for free #lovefoodhatewaste. (For those that don't know - people give away unwanted food on Olio for free, volunteers (like me) collect unsold food from supermarkets to give away for free on the app - its amazing)."

Her advice blew shoppers away. Katie Stones said: "Oh thanks for the information- I could totally use this this month- not paid for a week and run out of fresh food and money."
